High School: Played halfback and linebacker at McCaskey High School under head coach Scott Feldman...led team to 10-2 record as a senior when team won Lancaster-Lebanon League title and advanced to district title game...first team All-Lancaster-Lebanon League at both running back and linebacker and an All-State pick at running back as a senior...four-time Lancaster New Era Player of the Week as a senior...rushed for 3,111 yards and 51 touchdowns in his career, including 1,264 yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior in 2001...second team All-Lancaster-Lebanon League running back as a junior...honor roll student...competed in sprint and jumping events for the McCaskey track team...district runner-up in 4 x 100 meter relay as a freshman and two-time league runner-up in the 4 x 100 meter relay...played four years of varsity basketball as a forward...led basketball team to three league titles and three state semifinal appearances....

At Delaware: Third-year member of Delaware’s backfield...teams with sophomore Omar Cuff to give the Hens a powerful inside-outside attack in the single-back offense...sturdy runner who combines punishing strength with solid speed...outstanding short yardage runner who excels around the goal-line...also a capable receiver out of the backfield...has played in 20 career games and carried 131 times for 493 yards (3.8 avg.) and 10 touchdowns...has scored 11 career touchdowns...did not see action during the spring due to a shoulder injury but is expected back at full strength this fall...runs a 4.5 40-yard dash...

2004: Valuable asset to Blue Hen running attack as No. 2 back in the one-back set and the team’s top short-yardage runner...played in 11 games with one start and was the team’s fifth leading rusher with 308 yards on 88 carries...averaged 3.5 yards per carry and led team with nine touchdowns...also caught four passes for 25 yards and a touchdown...started vs. Navy...missed season opener vs. New Hampshire and fourth game of season vs. Massachusetts with a foot injury...ran for a career-high 78 yards on 18 carries and scored two touchdowns vs. William & Mary in regular season win...also had 68 yards on 15 carries vs. West Chester, and 56 yards on 20 carries with two touchdowns vs. Hofstra...tied a school record with four touchdowns rushing in win over Maine...carried just seven times for 13 yards but scored game-winner vs. Maine on a one-yard dive with 45 seconds left to play in 43-38 win...carried the ball just six times in the last four games with the emergence of freshman Omar Cuff in the backfield...caught two passes for 12 yards and a touchdown vs. Navy...returned a kickoff for 10 yards vs. Villanova in regular season finale...had four carries for 29 yards in spring game...

2003: Earned first varsity letter as Blue Hens’ No. 3 running back behind record-setting All-American Germaine Bennett and four-year standout Antawn Jenkins...saw backup action in nine games and carried 43 times for 185 yards and on touchdown...averaged 4.3 yards per carry and had just one minus yardage run...did not catch a pass...rushed a career-high 10 times for 39 yards vs. West Chester and had career-high 58 yards on six carries and scored on a career-long 37-yard scamper vs. Rhode Island...also rushed for 37 yards vs. Richmond, compiled 22 yards on eight carries in collegiate debut vs. The Citadel, and saw extensive fourth quarter action in I-AA title game win over Colgate with 23 yards on five carries...rushed seven times for 47 yards, including a 27-yard scamper in spring game...

2002: Did not see game action and retained freshman eligibility...

Personal: Niquan (pronounced “nee-kwan”) Joseph Lee...born Aug. 28, 1983 in Coatesville, PA...son of Mr. Teon Lee...elementary education major...has two younger sisters...has worked at Lancaster Recreation Center during the summer.
