Stockbridge, GA/Stephenson

High School: Played just one season of high school football at Stephenson High School under head coach Ron Gartrell...played cornerback, wide receiver, and kick returner in leading Stephenson to a 7-3 record...collected 53 tackles, including 32 solo stops, and added five interceptions and two forced fumbles...two-year varsity standout in track and field as a sprinter...ran the 110 meter and 300 meter hurdles and the 4 x 100 meter relay...qualified for the state championships in all three events...captured the regional title in the 4 x 100 relay and 300 hurdles...honor roll student.

At Delaware: Second-year member of squad as a redshirt freshman...outstanding athlete who will look to make impact in a deep and talented Blue Hen defensive secondary...projected to be No. 2 cornerback behind fifth-year senior Roger Brown and will also see action on special teams...2005: Did not see game action and retained freshman eligibility...team went 6-5 for head coach K.C. Keeler.

Personal: Kenneth Hale Jr....born June 2, 1987...son of Kenneth and Beverly Hale...has a younger sister...secondary education major at Delaware...would like to become a teacher and coach after graduation...uncle, Cleve Hale, played college football at Alabama and is currently a football official in the Southeastern Conference...worked at Kohl’s department store last summer.
