High School: Played offensive and defensive line and also was a deep and short snapper for head coach Jim Hartlige at Santa Margarita High School...led squad to Sierra League titles in 2000 and 2001 and was part of four teams that advanced to the state playoffs...named Sierra League Offensive Lineman of the Year....played in Orange County North-South All-Star Game...earned team’s Top Iron Eagle Award for strength training...holds school’s bench press (365 lbs.) and power clean (305 lbs.) records...also threw shot put and discus for indoor track team and was a pitcher for the SMCHS baseball team.

At Delaware: Fifth-year senior and the most experienced member of the Blue Hen defensive line unit...three-year letterwinner who will be a second-year starter this fall...has played in 38 career games with nine starts and has collected 42 tackles (20 solo) to go with four tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and one pass breakup...versatile player with good quickness...can play either end or tackle and enters season projected as the starter at right tackle...also expected to serve as team’s short snapper on placements and as the backup long snapper on punts...one of team’s most enthusiastic and high-energy players...avid weight lift who has the team’s best clean lift...sat out spring drills due to a shoulder injury but is expected back at full strength for the fall...2005: Moved into starting spot for first time in career as a junior and enjoyed a solid season...played in all 11 games and started the final nine contests...after coming off the bench in the first two games of the season, started at left end vs. Holy Cross, Towson, and Hofstra and started the final six games at left tackle...ranked third among Delaware down linemen with 25 tackles, including 12 solo stops...also had three tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks for 11 yards...posted a career-high four tackles each vs. Towson, Richmond, Massachusetts, and William & Mary...had two tackles, including a sack, and forced a fumble in win over West Chester...led team to 6-5 record for head coach K.C. Keeler...named Most Improved Player on defense by the Blue Hen Touchdown Club following spring drills...recorded two tackles in spring game...2004: Earned second letter as a key backup on Blue Hens’ defensive line...played in all 13 games in a reserve role...collected eight tackles, including four solo stops...matched career-high with three tackles vs. Towson...had one tackle each in Delaware’s two post-season games vs. Lafayette and William & Mary...part of defense that ranked No. 3 in the Atlantic 10 in rushing defense (87.3) and No. 2 in total defense (299.5)...2003: One of just four true freshmen to see action for Blue Hens, joining linebacker KeiAndre Hepburn and defensive backs Rashaad Woodard and Nicos Chavis...part of a balanced defensive front that recorded 41 sacks and ranked fifth in NCAA I-AA in scoring defense (15.4), No. 16 in total defense (303.0), and No. 17 in rushing defense (114.3)...appeared in 14 games, all in a reserve roll...collected nine tackles, including four solo stops...also had a sack and broke up a pass...had career-high three tackles in NCAA first round playoff win over Southern Illinois and added two stops each vs. West Chester and Rhode Island...recorded lone sack for four yards vs. Southern Illinois.
