High School: Three-year starter on offensive and defensive line at Upper Darby High School for head coach Rich Gentile...two-time member of Delaware County Daily Times All-Delaware County team...helped team post a record of 6-3 as a senior in 2001 when he was captain and team Most Valuable Player...posted 112 tackles, including 13 sacks as a senior...named to All-Central League and All-Southern Pennsylvania teams...played in Big 33 All-Star Game and in Delaware County Hero Bowl...National Honor Society...member of school executive committee and participated in mock trial club.

At Delaware: Senior and a third-year member of the squad since transfer from West Virginia University...one of 14 seniors on the squad...joins Bubba Jespersen as the team’s lone senior defensive linemen...looks to make a greater impact this season and is projected as the team’s No. 2 left tackle behind sophomore Manny Marshall...one of the team’s strongest players...posted the team’s top bench press weight in spring drills...among the team’s most improved players during spring drills...collected three tackles in Blue-White spring game, including a sack...2005: Earned first varsity letter in second year on the squad...appeared in the first four games of the season...slowed down by a back injury vs. Towson and did not see action the rest of the season after dropping on the depth chart...started game vs. West Chester...recorded seven tackles, including five solo stops...also had two tackles for loss, including one sack...had three tackles in Delaware debut vs. Lehigh and added two vs. Holy Cross and one each vs. West Chester and Towson...had one sack for six yards and a tackle for loss of five yards vs. Lehigh...team went 6-5 for head coach K.C. Keeler...2004: First-season with Blue Hens after transferring from West Virginia University...was eligible immediately per NCAA transfer rules but did not see game action...transferred to Delaware in January...team went 9-4, captured the Atlantic 10 title, and advanced the NCAA I-AA quarterfinals.

At West Virginia University: 2003: Did not see game action as a redshirt freshman...team went 8-5 and lost to Maryland in the Gator Bowl under head coach Rich Rodriguez...2002: Sat out redshirt season to retain freshman eligibility...team went 9-4 and lost to Virginia in the Continental Tire Bowl...two-time scout team Rookie of the Week.

Personal: Rachid Stoury (“ruh-sheed story")...born June 2, 1983 in Morocco...son of Malika Bousada...one of three children...honor student at West Virginia...honor student majoring in management information systems (MIS) and accounting at Delaware...has worked with UD’s accounting department as a student assistant...enjoys fishing....travelled to Morocco twice over the last two years...has worked in web design during the summer.
