High School: Played at Western Branch High School for coach Lewis Johnson...played tight end and linebacker...three-year standout...earned second team All-State honors at tight end as a senior...also earned second team all-region honors at tight end, first team All-Tidewater Area laurels at tight end, and first team all-district honors at both linebacker and tight end as a senior...team won district titles in 2001 and 2002 and won regional title in 2002.

At Delaware: Third-year member of the squad as a sophomore...outstanding prospect who will add solid support as the No. 2 tight end behind junior Robbie Agnone...strong player and an effective blocker...2006: Earned first letter as team’s No. 3 tight end behind consensus first team All-American Ben Patrick and Agnone...team went 5-6 under head coach K.C. Keeler...appeared in 10 games, all in a backup role and mostly as a second tight end in running situations and on kickoff returns...caught only pass for no yards vs. Richmond...missed the James Madison game due to an injury...returned a kickoff for 14 yards vs. William & Mary...2005: Did not see game action and retained his freshman eligibility...was among team’s top practice players... team went 6-5 under Keeler.

Personal: Joshua Stevenson “Josh” Baker...born Dec. 25, 1986...son of Gary and Selena Misco...has a younger sister...criminal justice major...would like to pursue a career with the FBI...father played college football at North Carolina State...enjoys fishing and surfing in his spare time.
