High School: Two-year standout at Central Dauphin High School for head coach Paul Plott...led team to record of 17-6 over his final two seasons, including a 10-2 record and Mid-Penn Conference title his junior year in 2004...two-time All-Mid Penn Conference selection at wide receiver...team captain...selected to play in state East West All-Star Game and was nominated for the state Big 33 Game...in his final two seasons caught 87 passes for 1,072 yards and 11 touchdowns...four-year varsity player and three-year starter in basketball, earning second team all-conference honors as a junior and first team honors as a senior...scored over 1,000 career points...team won District III title last season...National Honor Society.

At Delaware: Talented receiver with outstanding size...second-year member of squad who looks to continue contributions to UD passing game...teams with All-American QB candidate Joe Flacco and returning starting receivers Aaron Love, Kervin Michaud, and Mark Duncan to form one of the top passing threats in the country at the FCS level...projected as No. 2 receiver behind junior Kervin Michaud in Hens’ three-wideout set to open season...caught two passes for eight yards in Blue-White Spring Game in April...switched number from 84 to 8 this fall...2006: Enjoyed an outstanding pre-season camp as a true freshman and earned spot in Delaware’s wide receiver mix...earned varsity letter as one of just three true freshmen to see action on offense (joining WR Ryan Finnegan and RB Jared Bradley)...saw action in nine games and caught one pass for five yards in road win at Richmond...team went 5-6 under head coach K.C. Keeler.

Personal: Mark Wagner Mackey ...born Sept. 17, 1987...son of Roger and Deb Mackey...uncle, Erik, is an avid photographer who shoots various UD sporting events...secondary math education major at Delaware...ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-American candidate...would like to teach and coach in high school after graduation.
