High School: Played at John Carroll High School under coach Lenny Jankowski...played defensive end, linebacker, tight end, and wide receiver...two-time Treasure Coast All-Star on both offense and defense...earned all-area honors...caught winning touchdown in team’s 7-0 upset overtime win over eventual state champion Fort Meade High School...led team to district playoffs in 2003 and 2004...teammate of former Blue Hen defensive lineman Stephen Purkey at John Carroll...outstanding basketball player who was recruited by several NCAA Division I schools...captain of both teams...two-year All-State pick in basketball as a forward in 2004 and 2005 for head coach Steve Ripley...three-year starter...averaged 22.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game in 2004-05 in leading squad to its best season (23 wins and sectional title) in over 25 years...scored 32 points and was game MVP in the Treasure Coast All-Star game...named area Player of the Year in 2005.

At Delaware: All-American and All-Colonial Athletic Association candidate as a third-year member of the squad...first sophomore in Delaware football history to be elected co-captain and will serve with seniors Mike Byrne and Omar Cuff in role this fall...has sophomore eligibility as he received extra year from NCAA after missing all but two games as a sophomore in 2006 due to a shoulder injury suffered vs. Albany...did not take part in spring drills due to the injury but will be back this fall at 100 percent...has come back stronger from injury and ran a 4.4 40-yard dash in summer training...will be a third-year starter at defensive end for a much-improved unit...teams with first-year Notre Dame tansfer Ronald Talley to give Delaware one of top outside pass rushing combinations in the CAA...earned pre-season second team All-CAA honors in Phil Steele’s Football Preview Magazine this summer...has played in 13 career games with 13 starts and recorded 60 tackles (37 solo), 11 tackles for loss, and four sacks...one of team’s most impressive athletes...has great speed on the end despite adding 40 pounds to his frame from high school...2006: After an outstanding freshman campaign in 2005, was looking to post a breakout year but had it cut short in the second week of the season when he suffered a shoulder injury vs. Albany...had successful surgery during the fall but remained active with the team at practices and meetings while doing rehabilitation...started first two games of the season vs. West Chester and Albany and recorded nine tackles, including two for loss, on the season...had five tackles, including two for loss, vs. West Chester and four stops before injury vs. Albany...injury had a big effect on UD defense, which struggled most of the season, especially in its pass rush...team went 5-6 under head coach K.C Keeler...led all players with five tackles in the Blue-White spring game...2005: Although recruited to play linebacker, earned a starting spot at defensive end in pre-season drills as a true freshman and enjoyed an outstanding rookie campaign...one of eight true freshmen to see action for the Blue Hens and was the only one to start all 11 games...made history when he started season opener vs. Lehigh, becoming the first UD true freshman to start the opener since defensive tackle Ed Braceland in 1978 and the first first-semester player to start the opener since quarterback Don Miller in 1951...started all 11 games at right end and ranked No. 7 on the team with 51 tackles, including 29 solo stops...led all down linemen in tackles...tied for team lead with nine tackles for losses of 45 yards and tied a Delaware freshman single season record with four quarterback sacks for 22 yards..also had a pass breakup...named Blue Hen Touchdown Club Defensive Player of the Week vs. Richmond...recorded five or more tackles five times with career and season-high eight stops vs. Massachusetts...also had seven tackles vs. Richmond and six each vs. West Chester, Holy Cross, and Maine...had 2.5 tackles for losses of 17 yards vs. William & Mary and had two tackles for loss vs. Holy Cross and Towson in consecutive games...recorded sacks vs. Towson, James Madison, William & Mary, and Villanova...forced a fumble vs. Villanova.
