
High School: Two-way lineman at Wareham High School under head coach Dan Nault...team went 23-1 over his final two seasons...led team to undefeated Southcoast Conference titles in both 2005 and 2006 with team advancing to the state AA semifinals in 2005 and to the finals in 2006...Massachusetts Super 26 All-State as a senior in 2006 when he averaged 7.5 tackles per game and graded out at 95 percent on offense...team captain...first team All-Southcoast Conference in both 2005 and 2006...played in North/South Shriners All-State game...all-scholastic by the New Bedford Standard Times, Brockton Enterprise, Boston Globe, and Boston Herald newspapers as a senior...Wareham’s 2006 Man of the Year by New Bedford Standard Times...Greater Boston Gridiron Club All-Star...National Football Foundation and College of Hall of Fame Scholar-Athlete award recipient...honor roll student...earned Athletic Director’s Award and Dean of Student Award from Wareham HS.
At Delaware: Second-year member of squad and one of the team’s top young linemen...will look to add depth to unit that lost three starters...back at full strength after missing parts of last fall and this spring with shoulder injury...will battle for playing time at offensive guard.
2007 Season: Did not see action as a backup offensive lineman and retained freshman eligibility...sidelined for most of the season with a shoulder injury...team went 11-4 and advanced to the FCS title game under head coach K.C. Keeler.
Personal: Lawrence Christian “Shea” Allard (“al-urd”)...born Aug. 27, 1989 in Colorado Springs, Colo....son of Victoria Allard...hotel and restaurant management major with a minor in business administration...enjoys swimming, fishing, and boating in spare time...mother is a librarian...mother was a Florida State judo champion and earned two medals at the Junior Olympics...has an older sister...worked at Caffe Gelato restaurant on campus this past summer...avid Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, and New England Patriots fan.
