High School: Led Durant High School to 12-2 record and state semifinals in 2003 as a senior for coach Mike Gottman...earned All-Western Conference, All-Sun Coast Area and all-county honors as a senior....won team’s Iron Man Award...four-year letterwinner and three-year starter at cornerback and quarterback, leading team to 28-8 record...team won district title in both 2002 and 2003...also played wide receiver...won team's Principal Academic Award for academic accomplishments...National Vocational-Technical Honor Society as a senior...competed in the 200 meters and 400 meters in track...competed in basketball for two seasons.

At Delaware: Team’s most experienced defensive back...three-year letterwinner...outstanding athlete with good speed...37 career games played and 24 starts are the most among active Blue Hen defensive backs...enters season having started 20 straight games...No. 2 among active UD players with 134 career tackles...needs 66 tackles to become 11th defensive back in UD history to reach 200 for a career...also has five tackles for loss, nine pass breakups, and four interceptions...slated to start for third straight year at left cornerback and will also see time on special teams as a cover specialist...had one tackle in spring game.

2007 Season: Started all 15 games at left cornerback for team that went 11-4 and advanced to the FCS national championship game under head coach K.C. Keeler...ranked No. 7 on team in tackles with 57 (44 solo stops)...second on team with six pass breakups...intercepted two passes, returning one 78 yards for a touchdown vs. Monmouth...78-yard return was the second longest among CAA players for the season and the 11th longest in UD history...named Blue Hen Touchdown Club Defensive Player of the Week vs. Monmouth...had season-high six tackles each vs. Richmond and in NCAA playoff wins over Northern Iowa and Southern Illinois...also intercepted a pass vs. West Chester....had first career carry but lost five yards vs. New Hampshire on a fake punt play...had three tackles in 2007 Blue-White spring game.

2006 Season: Played in all 11 games with eight starts, including the final five games of the year, at cornerback...fifth on the team and first among cornerbacks with 45 tackles (30 solo)...two interceptions and one pass breakup...recorded a career-high tying eight tackles each vs. Towson and William & Mary...intercepted passes vs. Northeastern and William & Mary (23 yards)...had six tackles vs. Northeastern and tackle for loss vs. William & Mary...team went 5-6 under Keeler...returned an interception 35 yards in the Blue-White spring game.

2005 Season: Saw action in all 11 games and started season finale vs. Villanova...team went 6-5 under Keeler...posted 22 tackles on the season, including 18 solo stops, to go with two pass breakups and two blocked kicks...blocked a punt to set up a fourth quarter touchdown vs. Holy Cross and blocked a field goal attempt vs. Towson...closed out the season on a high note, posting four tackles vs. Massachusetts (Blue Hen Touchdown Club Defensive Player of the Week), eight vs. William & Mary, and seven vs. Villanova...had two tackles for loss vs. UMass.

2004 Season: Did not see game action as a true freshman and retained freshman eligibility...team went 9-4, captured the Atlantic 10 Conference title, and advanced to the NCAA I-AA quarterfinals.

Personal: Frederick Augustin Andrew Ill...born February 18, 1986...son of Wilma Miles and Frederic A. Andrew III....finance major at Delaware with a minor in economics...worked at Embassy Suites Hotel during the summer...father is a police officer...has two brothers...father played college football.
