High School: A 2006 graduate of West Deptford High School...rushed 80 times for 1,018 yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior under head coach Clyde Folsom...three-year letterwinner, playing running back, wide receiver, and returning kickoffs while helping team to three state titles and a 33-2 overall mark in his tenure...had 146 career carries for 2,080 yards...first team All-Colonial Conference as a senior and played in the 2006 Adam Taliaferro Bowl...captured four letters in indoor and outdoor track...earned All-American, All State, all-county, All-Group II and all-conference honors as a sprinter...ran the third fastest time in the nation in the 55m in 2006 (6.34)...captured Group II State Championship in both the 55m and 200m...named Camden Courier-Post Indoor Track Athlete of the Year as a senior...advanced to the semifinals of the 2006 Nike Indoor Nationals in the 60m...won the 200m at the 2006 New Jersey Meet of Champions to earn first team Associated Press All-State honors...won the 2006 Group II 100m and 200m state titles...earned Philadelphia Inquirer All-South Jersey honors in the 200m...National Honor Society student.

At Delaware: First-year transfer from Temple University...one of team’s fastest players...will play key role as part of Delaware’s wide receiver corps that returns three starters...took part in spring drills at Delaware and caught three passes for 18 yards in spring game.

2007 Season: Enrolled at Delaware during Winter Session in January...At Temple: Played one season at NCAA Division I FBS Temple University in Philadelphia.

2006 Season: did not see game action and retained freshman eligibility...team went 1-11 under head coach Al Golden.

Personal: Wilson Author “A.J.” Bunton...born May 2, 1988...son of Christina and Wilson A. Bunton, Sr...black american studies major at Delaware...mother was a sprinter at the University of Alabama and was a member the 1980 United States 4 x 400m track and field team that boycotted the Olympics...godfather is former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker William Thomas.
