Redwood City, Calif./S. San Francisco HS (Minnesota)

High School: Attended South San Francisco High School where he was a standout for head coach Dan Morrow...versatile performer who played quarterback, wide receiver, cornerback, safety, linebacker, and returned kicks...did not play football until his senior year when he scored 10 touchdowns on offense and grabbed three interceptions.

At Delaware: Second-year team member who has senior eligibility...will add depth to a deep and talented Blue Hen secondary that returns all four starters...versatile defender who can play safety or cornerback...slated to backup sophomores Anthony Walters and Tyrone Grant at right cornerback and could also see action on special teams...registered five tackles, including two quarterback sacks, in spring game.

2007 Season: Transfered to Delaware during the summer...suffere wrist injury and did not see action during the season...team went 11-4 and advanced to the FCS national championship game under head coach K.C. Keeler.

At Minnesota: Signed with school during in December, 2006 but left school during spring drills when Glen Mason left as head coach.

At City Colege of San Francisco: Competed for two seasons and led team to two national championship runner-up finishes...teammate of current UD defensive tackle Julian James.

2006 Season: Played defensive back and led school to National Junior College national championship game appearance for second straight year with a 9-1 record...recorded 26 solo tackles, six interceptions, three forced fumbles, and three sacks to earn first team All-NorCal Conference honors.

2005 Season: Led team to National Junior College national championship game.

Personal: Durrell ("duh-rell") Tyson Clark-James...born Feb. 20, 1985 in San Francisco, Calif...son of Raymon and Phelicia Ghafouri...history and business major at Delaware...enjoys dirt biking, skiing, and snowboarding in his free time...plays the violin...one of six children...father of two sons, Davon and Darius.
