High School: Played at Suitland High School for coach Nick Lynch...versatile player at Suitland where he played wide receiver, defensive back, and returned kicks...led 2004 team to a 13-1 record and the state AAAA title...first team All-State (Big Schools) in 2004 as a defensive back...returned three kickoffs for touchdowns as a senior and had six touchdowns overall when he also caught 25 passes for 400 yards...played at Wootton High School as a freshman and had four interceptions and four fumble recoveries for varsity squad...has run the 100 meter dash in 10.8 and was part of 4 x 200 meter relay team that set a state high school record with a time of 1:29.67...Junior Olympic champion in the 4 x 100 meter relay...played in Maryland High School All-Star Game...attended same school that produced Delaware’s 2003 All-American running back and former single season rushing yard record holder Germaine Bennett...played soccer and basketball.

At Delaware: Fourth-year member of squad and a three-year letterwinner...talented player with good speed...charismatic player who has fun on the field...will be a third year starter at wide receiver and is the Blue Hens’ top big-play threat...one of three returning starters at wide receiver for Delaware, joining All-American Aaron Love and Kervin Michaud...can also return kickoffs...has played in 24 career games with 22 starts...owns 98 career receptions for 1,242 yards (12.7 avg.) and six touchdowns...needs two receptions to become just the 13th player in UD history to reach the 100-career receptino mark...one of only 24 players in UD history with over 1,000 yards receiving for a career...ranks No. 5 on the UD career reception per game list with 4.1 mark...will enter 2008 season having caught at least one pass in 14 straight games...has posted five career 100-yard receiving games...caught seven passes for 123 yards, including a 26-yard touchdown reception from Lou Ritacco, in 2008 spring game.

2007 Season: Enjoyed an outstanding sophomore season as one of the top big play receivers in the Colonial Athletic Association...team’s No. 2 receiver with 70 receptions for 916 yards (13.1 avg.) and a team-high six touchdowns...also rushed four times for 27 yards and returned five kickoffs for 120 yards (24.0 avg.) and one touchdown for team that went 11-4 and advanced to the FCS national title game under head catch K.C. Keeler...named Blue Hen Touchdown Club Offensive Player of the Week vs. Richmond...ranked No. 8 in the CAA in receptions (4.67 per game) and 10th in receiving yards (61.1 per game)...70 receptions was the third highest single season total in UD history...career-long 84-yard touchdown reception from Joe Flacco was the longest passing play in the CAA and the fourth longest pass play in Delaware history...caught at least one pass in each of the final 14 games...caught five or more passes eight times with season-high 10 receptions vs. New Hampshire...caught nine passes for a career-high 157 yards and two touchdowns vs. Richmond, caught 10 passes for 101 yards vs. New Hampshire, snared eight passes for 112 yards and one touchdown vs. Northern Iowa, and caught six passes for 109 yards and a touchdown vs. Rhode Island...also caught a touchdown pass vs. Navy and caught seven passes for 83 yards and a touchdown in FCS national title game vs. Appalachian State...scored a second touchdown vs. Appalachian State when he returned a kickoff 75 yards for a touchdown in the final quarter...had two catches for 48 yards, including a 39-yard reception in spring game.

2006 Season: Played in nine games with eight starts as a redshirt freshman and was a key part of an outstanding Blue Hen passing attack...was team’s fifth leading receiver with 28 catches for 326 yards and an 11.6-yard average...caught team’s third longest pass of the season with a 51-yarder from Joe Flacco vs. Rhode Island...sat out Richmond and Towson games with an ankle injury suffered in mid-week practice...caught four or more passes four times and enjoyed his highest productivity late, catching 15 passes for 141 yards over the last three games...had season-highs of seven catches for 78 yards vs. Northeastern to earn Blue Hen Touchdown Club Offensive Player of the Week honors...had six catches for 64 yards vs. Villanova and five receptions for 34 yards vs. William & Mary...recorded two tackles (vs. Albany, Villanova) and returned two kickoffs for 35 yards vs. Albany...team went 5-6...Blue Hen Touchdown Club Most Improved Offensive Player for spring drills.

2005 Season: Did not see game action in first season at Delaware and retained freshman eligibility...one of team’s top scout players during the fall...team went 6-5.

Personal: Mark Desmond Duncan...born March 3, 1987...son of Cheryl Germany...criminal justice major at Delaware...is an avid rap performer.
