High School: Three-sport standout at Woodlawn High School in football, track and lacrosse...served as captain twice for both football and track...three-year varsity standout at both offensive and defensive line for head coach Leonard Hart...team posted three-year mark of 32-9, winning three regional and county titles and advancing to the state semifinals in 2002 and 2003...two-time All-Baltimore County selection at offensive line...three-year varsity standout in track and field, throwing shot put and discus...won county title and was third in the state championships in the shot put his junior and senior year...team placed third in state championships his senior year...holds school record in shot put (49-0)...played varsity lacrosse as a defenseman his freshman and sophomore years...honor roll student.

At Delaware: Team co-captain with Kervin Michaud, Erik Johnson, and Matt Marcorelle...former walk-on who has worked hard to become one of the top centers in the nation at the FCS level...solid, physical player who has good feet and quickness and continues to improve...consensus pre-season All-American...earned first team pre-season All-American honors by Phil Steele’s College Football Preview Magazine and second team pre-season All-Americans laurels by Lindy’s College Football Preview and Consensus Draft Services...pre-season first team All-Colonial Athletic Association by both Phil Steele and by vote of conference head coaches...fifth-year team member and three-year letterwinner...will be a third-year starter in 2008, his second at center...has appeared in 35 career games with 26 starts....has started 26 straight games entering 2008...expected to be back at full strength after missing spring drills due to ankle surgery.

2007 Season: One of the top centers in the country as a first-year starter at the position...played a key role for offensive front that helped pave the way for a unit that led the Colonial Athletic Association in scoring (36.2 ppg/11th in NCAA), passing (289.5/11th in NCAA), and total offense (460.6/sixth in NCAA) behind All-American quarterback Joe Flacco and running back Omar Cuff...team went 11-4 under head coach K.C. Keeler and advanced to the FCS title game...earned honorable mention All-American honors by The Sports Network and was named first team All-CAA...started all 15 games at center...played entire post-season with an injured ankle suffered in first round playoff win over Delaware State...named Blue Hen Touchdown Club Offensive Player of the Week in FCS quarterfinal win over Northern Iowa.

2006 Season: Earned starting spot at left guard in pre-season and went on to start all 11 games to earn second career letter for the Blue Hens...joined QB Joe Flacco and LB KeiAndre Hepburn as the only three UD players to start every game at the same position during the year...helped the UD offense average 26.3 points (No. 4 in A-10), 356.6 total yards (No. 5), and 253.0 passing yards (No. 2) per game...team ranked No. 9 in NCAA I-AA in passing and No. 30 in both scoring and total offense...team went 5-6.

2005 Season: Earned first varsity letter as a redshirt freshman...saw action in nine games in a reserve role...played a backup role at offensive guard and also saw action as blocking back in “jumbo package” in short yardage situations...started in that role in game vs. Maine...team went 6-5...helped pave the way for All-American running back Omar Cuff and offensive attack that ranked third in the Atlantic 10 and 20th in NCAA I-AA in rushing offense (119.64).

2004 Season: Did not see game action and retained freshman eligibility...team went 9-4, won the Atlantic 10 title, and advanced to the NCAA I-AA quarterfinals.

Personal: Kheon (“key-ahn”) Raheem Hendricks...born January 5, 1986...son of Colly and Paulette Hendricks...earned degree in biology from Delaware in May, 2008...currently enrolled in graduate school as a sociology major...one of four children...brother, Kareem, played linebacker at Delaware in 2002 and earned his degree from Delaware in 2005...has worked at White Clay Creek Golf Course during the summer....worked as a coordinator with the UD Upward Bound Program this summer...program helps poor and first generation college students adjust to college life....won the team's unofficial cheeseburger eating contest this past summer, downing 25 in just 15 minutes.
