At Delaware: Fourth-year member of the squad as a junior...has earned one letter...has split time between tight end and offensive line during his career at Delaware...former walk-on who earned scholarship money this spring...appears to be set at offensive line where he is projected to be the backup to junior Corey Nicholson at left tackle entering the season.
2007 Season: Earned first letter as a backup tight end and special teams player...team went 11-4 and advanced to the FCS national title game under head coach K.C. Keeler...appeared in five games as a backup, seeing action vs. William & Mary, West Chester, Rhode Island, Monmouth, and Delaware State.
2006 Season: Did not see game action as a reserve tight end...No. 4 on depth chart behind All-American Ben Patrick, Robbie Agnone, and Josh Baker...team went 5-6.
2005 Season: Did not see game action as a backup offensive lineman and retained freshman eligibility...team went 6-5.

Hyncik played tennis at Delaware in 1978-80, and brother, Adam, played basketball at Lehigh and was a backup guard as a senior in 2006-07. |
