High School: Two-year standout at Central Dauphin High School for head coach Paul Plott...led team to record of 17-6 over his final two seasons, including a 10-2 record and Mid-Penn Conference title his junior year in 2004...two-time All-Mid Penn Conference selection at wide receiver...team captain...selected to play in state East West All-Star Game and was nominated for the state Big 33 Game...in his final two seasons caught 87 passes for 1,072 yards and 11 touchdowns...four-year varsity player and three-year starter in basketball, earning second team all-conference honors as a junior and first team honors as a senior...scored over 1,000 career points...team won District III title last season...National Honor Society student.

At Delaware: Third-year member of the squad....two-year letterwinner...junior who adds outstanding size and depth to one of the nation’s top pass catching groups...will serve as backup in three-receiver set behind returning starters in All-American Aaron Love, Kervin Michaud, and Mark Duncan...has appeared in 22 career games with one start and caught 13 passes for 145 yards (11.1 avg.) and one touchdown...one of five returning UD receivers who caught 10 or more passes in 2007...ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-American nominee.

2007 Season: Earned second letter as a backup wide receiver...teamed with talented group of receivers and All-American quarterback Joe Flacco to form one of the top passing attacks in the nation...played in 13 games and received first career start vs. Towson...did not see action vs. James Madison and Villanova due to injuries...ranked seventh on the team in receiving with 12 catches for 140 yards (11.7 avg.) and one touchdown...one of seven players on team who caught 10 or more passes...reached career highs with three receptions for 49 yards vs. Monmouth...caught first career touchdown on a two-yard pass from Flacco vs. Rhode Island in a game where he also caught a career-long 32-yard pass...also had two catches for 12 yards vs. William & Mary and two receptions for 27 yards vs. Towson...caught two passes for eight yards in spring game..switched number from 84 to 8 prior to season.

2006 Season: Enjoyed an outstanding pre-season camp as a true freshman and earned spot in Delaware’s wide receiver mix...earned varsity letter as one of just three true freshmen to see action on offense...saw action in nine games and caught one pass for five yards in road win at Richmond...team went 5-6.

Personal: Mark Wagner Mackey ...born Sept. 17, 1987...son of Roger and Deb Mackey...uncle, Erik, is an avid photographer who shoots various UD sporting events...economics education major with a minor in math at Delaware...math tutor on campus...has team’s highest grade point average...two-time member of conference Academic Honor Roll team...ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-American candidate...would like to teach and coach in high school after graduation...worked at White Clay Creek Golf Club on the grounds crew during the summer.
