High School: Played quarterback, wide receiver, and defensive back at Cardinal O’Hara High School for head coach Dan Algeo...led team to two-year record of 20-4, including the Philadelphia Catholic League title his junior year in 2004...intercepted 11 passes, returning three for touchdowns, while passing for 500 yards, rushing for 500 yards, receiving for 200 yards, and making 13 tackles as a senior...earned numerous awards as a senior in 2005, including second team All-State, first team All-Catholic, first team All-Delaware County, first team All-Southeastern Pennsylvania, first team All-Delaware County Daily Times, and first team all-city...named Catholic League Most Valuable Player...played in state’s Big 33 All-Star Game in June in Hershey, PA...three-year starter in basketball for head coach Bud Gardler...averaged 11.0 points per game as a senior and 9.0 points and 5.0 assists per game as a junior...weekly Markward Award winner as Philadelphia area Player of the Week...nominated for Maxwell Club Award as most outstanding high school football player in the Philadelphia area.

At Delaware: One of the top young defensive backs in the Colonial Athletic Association...second-year team member and a key player in a deep and talented Blue Hen secondary that returns all four starters...will start for second straight year at right cornerback...teams with senior Fred Andrew to form one of the league’s top duos on the corner...part of a defense that should rank among the top units in the CAA...charismatic player who combines outstanding speed and size with a good nose for the football...can be counted on to come up with big play on defense...could also see action on special teams for Blue Hens...posted two tackles, both quarterback sacks, in the spring game.

2007 Season: One of the top freshmen defenders in the CAA...moved right into starting lineup at cornerback as a redshirt freshman and started all 15 games...one of five players on defense to start every game...was team’s sixth leading tackler and first among cornerbacks with 63 stops, including 49 solo hits...had 6.5 tackles for loss (47 yards), one sack, three interceptions, a team-high nine pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, and one forced fumble...scored first career touchdown against Rhode Island when he batted down a pitch and recovered the fumble in the end zone...earned CAA Rookie of the Week honors for his play vs. Rhode Island and was named Blue Hen Touchdown Club Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in the NCAA semifinal win over Southern Illinois...ranked No. 7 in the CAA in passes defended with 13...posted five or more tackles seven times with career-high eight in his collegiate debut vs. William & Mary...also had seven tackles vs. West Chester and Villanova and six against Northeastern and Northern Iowa...had two tackles for loss vs. Villanova and had a 21-yard tackle vs. loss vs. Monmouth on a bad snap to the punter...led team with nine pass breakups, including a career-high three vs. Richmond and two against Towson...second on the team with three interceptions for 49 yards...gained first career pick and returned it 12 yards against West Chester...set up touchdown with a 32-yard return vs. James Madison, and clinched NCAA semifinal win over Southern Illinois with an interception in the final minutes...recovered fumbles vs. Rhode Island and James Madison...earned starting spot with an outstanding spring...was one of the stars of the spring game as he posted seven tackles (six solo) and three pass breakups.

2006 Season: Did not see game action as a true freshman...retained freshman eligibility...team went 5-6.
