High School: Played at Western Branch High School for coach Lewis Johnson...played tight end and linebacker...three-year standout...earned second team All-State honors at tight end as a senior...also earned second team all-region honors at tight end, first team All-Tidewater Area laurels at tight end, and first team all-district honors at both linebacker and tight end as a senior...team won district titles in 2001 and 2002 and won regional title in 2002.

At Delaware: Fifth-year senior who returns to squad after a one-year absence...will move right into starting tight end spot and give the Blue Hens outstanding run support...outstanding athlete who can be an effective pass-catcher with the ability to make yards after the catch...expected to be one of the team's top receiving threats....has played in 25 career games with nine starts and caught 22 passes for 344 yards (16.4 avg.) and two touchdowns...caught a team-high four passes for 86 yards in 2009 spring game...has switched number from 80 to 2.

2008 Season: Was not enrolled at Delaware while on a one-year suspension from UD for off-field conduct.

2007 Season: Played a key role as No. 2 tight end in helping Delaware post an 11-4 record and advance to the NCAA Division FCS championship game...ranked No. 6 on the team in receiving, catching 20 passes for 344 yards (17.2 avg.) and two touchdowns...played in all 15 games and started nine contests in two tight end set...caught season-high four passes for 53 yards vs. Towson and had two receptions each vs. Villanova, Delaware State, and Appalachian State...had five receptions in post-season action...caught season-long 54-yard pass from Joe Flacco for a touchdown vs. New Hampshire...also scored a touchdown against Villanova.

2006 Season: Earned first letter as team’s No. 3 tight end behind consensus first team All-American Ben Patrick and Robbie Agnone...team went 5-6...appeared in 10 games, all in a backup role and mostly as a second tight end in running situations and on kickoff returns...caught only pass for no yards vs. Richmond...missed the James Madison game due to an injury...returned a kickoff for 14 yards vs. William & Mary.

2005 Season: Did not see game action and retained his freshman eligibility...was among team’s top practice players... team went 6-5.

Personal: Joshua Stevenson “Josh” Baker...born Dec. 25, 1986...son of Gary and Selena Misco and Kevin Baker...has a younger sister...criminal justice major with a minor in leadership...father played college football at North Carolina State...enjoys fishing and surfing in his spare time.
