High School: Played linebacker and offensive guard at Poly Prep Country Day School for head coach Dino Mangiero...teammate of current UD cornerback Tyrone Grant...led team to record of 11-6 over the last two seasons...earned All-New York City honors as a senior...earned Princeton Cup as team’s Athlete of the Year as a sophomore...holds school record for interceptions in a game and season (7)...as a senior, posted 76 tackles, two sacks, seven interceptions, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries...as a junior, had 64 tackles, seven sacks, three fumbles forced, and three fumble recoveries...three-year letterwinner in wrestling...state champion who also won two league titles and a city title...placed sixth at Eastern States championships...earned team’s Most Improved Wrestler award.

At Delaware: Third-year team member of squad as a sophomore middle linebacker...had a productive spring and showed vast improvement...expected to open pre-season as the team's starting middle linebacker, taking over for four-year standout Erik Johnson who graduated...will battle with junior Benard Makumbi to win spot..hard-hitter with outstanding size...recorded a game-high 10 tackles in 2009 spring game, including a quarterback sack for five yards.

2008 Season: Earned letter as a redshirt freshman...played in 11 games, missing only the season opener vs. Maryland...played a backup role at middle linebacker and on special teams...recorded eight tackles, including four solo stops...saw increased time late in the season with starting middle linebacker Erik Johnson limited with injuries...posted two tackles each vs. Albany and Maine and had single tackles in collegiate debut vs. West Chester, William & Mary, Hofstra, and James Madison...team went 4-8.

2007 Season: Suffered a shoulder injury early in camp and did not practice or see game action and retained freshman eligibility...team went 11-4 and advanced to the FCS national title game...one of two linebackers in 2007 recruiting class.

Personal: Eddie Ange Lugo (“lou-go”)...born Jan. 12, 1989...son of Lucy Lugo...has three younger siblings...sport management interest at Delaware...would like to become a physical trainer after graduation...has worked as a painter during the summer.
