High School: Played tight end and linebacker at Reading Central Catholic High School for head coach Thomas Hudy...three-year starter and 2006 captain...first team All-State class A at tight end...two-time All-Berks County selection...named Section 2 Receiver of the Year as a senior...two-time honorable mention All-State punter...nominated for Wendy’s High School Heisman...caught 22 passes for 519 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior and caught 25 passes for 401 yards and four touchdowns as a junior...had 70 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and one interception on defense as a senior...junior class president, senior class vice-president, active in chorus, class show, and various community service projects...National Honor Society student and an Eagle Scout...four-year varsity basketball player and team captain as a senior...led team to state A title with a 29-4 record...first team All-State...averaged 13.9 points per game and finished career with 1,017 points...two-time all-district in basketball...also played volleyball and baseball.
At Delaware: Third-year member of the squad as a sophomore...adds solid depth to the Blue Hen tight end...enters the pre-season projected as the No. 4 tight end behind Josh Baker, Trevor Mooney, and Zach Reed.
2008 Season: Saw first career action for the Blue Hens as a backup tight end...appeared in two games, seeing backup action in wins over West Chester and Towson...team went 4-8.
2007 Season: Made traveling squad as No. 3 tight end but did not see action and retained freshman eligibility...one of two tight ends in Delaware’s 2007 recruiting class.
