
High School: Three-year letterwinner for two-time state champion Salesianum High School for head coach Bill DiNardo...two-time All-State (first team in 2007) and two-time all-conference selection as a punter...team went 29-6 during his career, winning state titles in 2006 and 2007 and advancing to semifinals in 2009...averaged 37.9 yards per punt as a senior...also a two-year letterwinner in baseball....led baseball team to state semifinals as a pitcher in 2007...honor roll student....Senior Class Treasurer.
At Delaware: First-year member of squad after transfer from Temple University...joined the team midway through pre-season drills...is eligible immediately and expected to add solid backup support to starting punter Ed Wagner and All-American kicker Jon Striefsky.
At Temple: Did not see game action in 2008 for Temple under head coach Al Golden...team went 5-7...retained freshman eligibility.
Personal: Keith Jordan Ottinger ("ott-in-jer")...born May 14, 1990 in Memphis, Tenn....son of Keith and Sheryl Ottinger...has an older brother and younger sister...sport management interest...would like to become a sports agent after graduation...worked at Buckley's Tavern in Wilmington during the summer...enjoys fishing in his spare time....older brother, Justin, was a college punter.
