
High School: Standout two-way lineman and deep snapper at North Penn High School for head coach Dick Beck...led team to a three-year record of 37-5, including perfect 15-0 mark in 2003...team captured three straight Suburban One titles, won District I championships in 2003 and 2005, and captured the state AAAA title in 2003 his sophomore year...earned numerous honors as a senior when he was named first team All-State, first team All-Eastern Pennsylvania, first team all-area by the Philadelphia Inquirer, and first team All Suburban One League...played in prestigious Big 33 State All-Star Game in Hershey, PA...attended same high school as 2002-05 Blue Hen defensive back/wide receiver Zach Thomas and was teammate of current All-American kicker Jon Striefsky...played first trumpet in school band...honor roll student.
At Delaware: Fourth-year member of the squad as a junior...one of the most experienced players on the offensive side of the ball and second only to senior Corey Nicholson for career games played by UD offensive linemen...has appeared in all 27 games of his career and has started 15 straight - tops among all current UD offensive players - entering the 2009 season...had a solid spring and added 20 lbs. to his frame...can play either tackle or guard and could provide deep snapping duties if needed.
2008 Season: Earned second letter as a sophomore...was one of all five Blue Hen offensive linemen who started every game...anchored right side of the line at the tackle position...extended his starting streak to 15 straight games...named Blue Hen Touchdown Club Offensive Player of the Week vs. Maine when he helped Blue Hens gain 348 total yards in a 27-10 loss...team went 4-8.
2007 Season: Earned first letter at Delaware as he appeared in all 15 games as a part-time starter...saw action as a backup tackle and as an extra tight end on short yardage (“Jumbo package”) situations...led team to an 11-4 record and a berth in the FCS national title game under head coach K.C. Keeler...received first start vs. Richmond in place of Greg Benson...saw most extensive action in the post-season at left tackle spot, starting contests vs. Northern Iowa, Southern Illinois, and Appalachian State after Benson was injured during Delaware State game...played a key role for offensive front that helped pave the way for a unit that led the Colonial Athletic Association in scoring (36.2 ppg/11th in NCAA), passing (289.5/11th in NCAA), and total offense (460.6/sixth in NCAA) behind All-American quarterback Joe Flacco and running back Omar Cuff...enjoyed an outstanding spring practice...was named Most Improved Offensive Player by Blue Hen Touchdown Club for spring drills.
2006 Season: Did not see game action and retained freshman eligibility...team went 5-6.
