Dyran Peake will begin his fourth season with the University of Delaware football staff in 2008, assisting defensive coordinator Nick Rapone with the Blue Hen defensive backs. Peake was promoted to cornerbacks coach in April, 2007 and added the title of special teams coordinator in the spring of 2008.

Thanks to a much-improved defense, he led the Blue Hens to another outstanding season in 2007 when Delaware went 11-4 and advanced to the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision title game.

Peake, 29, spent three seasons as a graduate assistant at Duke University before moving on to Cornell for the 2004 season. While at Duke, he worked with the wide receivers during the 2001 season and with the defensive backs during the 2002 and 2003 campaigns.

At Cornell, he worked with the tight ends and H-Backs and served as video coordinator for the Big Red.
