PORTSMOUTH, Va. -- University of Delaware golfer Kevin McLister (at right) shot a 69-76 during the first two rounds to make the cut during the 53rd Eastern Amateur over the weekend.
McLister, who will be a junior on the Blue Hens during the 2009-10 season, shot a 72 in the third round and 73 in the fourth to finish 82nd with a four-round score of 290 at the Elizabeth Manor Golf & Country Club.
The Eastern Amateur features a strong field which includes golfers from many of the top college golf programs in the country.
McLister ranked fourth on Delaware with a 76.90 round average last season, including a season-best eighth place finish at the Liberty Invitational.
