EASTON, Pa. -- Sophomore Justin Martinson (at right) shot a one over par 34-39-73 to tie for the individual lead while the Blue Hens are also tied for the team lead out of 20 teams Saturday following the first day of the Lafayette Invitational.

The Blue Hens recorded a 306 team score, tied with Drexel for the team lead. Lehigh is in third place at 311, while Robert Morris, Siena and Villanova are all tied for fourth at 315.

Martinson finished one over par at the par 72, 6,916-yard course at Center Valley Golf Club. Freshman Greg Matthias is tied for 15th place with a five over par score of 39-38-77.

Senior Tommy Ellison, who shot 40-38-78, and senior Jeff Griest, who shot 38-40-78, are each tied for 19th place at six over par. Freshman Stephen Scialo is tied for 41st place after shooting a 10 over par 39-43-82.

The Lafayette Invitational concludes Sunday with another single round at the Center Valley Golf Club.
