Takes 12th at Navy Fall
Invitational
ANNAPOLIS,
MD (Sept. 12, 2004)-- The University of
Delaware golf team travled to Annapolis
this weekend to bring home the 12th place
seed in the Navy Fall
Invitational.
Team
captain Joe McLister and Dan Spiker tied
for 37th at the invitational and led
Delaware both shooting 152 over the two
days. McLister shot 75 on day one and 77
on day two as Spiker shot 80 on day one
and 72 on day two. Matt Grobstein followed
tying six other participants for 46th
shooting 153 overall, 75 and 78
respectively.
Towson
University won the tournament shooting an
overall team score of 584 and Sean Seese
of Saint Joseph's won the individual
tournament shooting 142
The golf
team travels next to Lewisburg, PA to
participate in the Bucknell Fall
Invitational the weekend of September
17-18.
