Oct. 21, 1998 3rd Place The University of Delaware men's golf team placed third out of four teams at the Lehigh University Quad Meet Wednesday at the Saucon Valley Country Club Grace Course. Junior Mike Ladden led the Blue Hens, firing a four over par 75 to tie for third place overall. Seton Hall won the team title with 304 followed by host Lehigh (314), Delaware (319), and Colgate (322). Seton Hall's Eugene Smith took medalist honors with a 71. Also for Delaware, Mark Swinger placed seventh with an 80, Jason Phinney was 13th with an 81, Ben Fenicle was 18th with an 83, and Graig O'Brien was 20th with a 92. Final Team Standings: 1. Seton Hall - 304; 2. Lehigh - 314; 3. Delaware - 319; 4. Colgate - 322. Individual Champion: Eugene Smith (SH), 71; Delaware Finishers: 3. Mike Ladden, 75; 7. Mark Swinger, 80; 13.
