at Center Valley Club of Center Valley, PA Oct. 16-17, 1998 12th Place The University of Delaware men's golf team placed 12th in the Stabler Invitational at Center Valley Golf Club in Center Valley, Pa. The Blue Hens were in 15th place after shooting 336 as a team after the first day of competition. The second day, the Blue Hens improved by 30 shots with a team score of 306. The Blue Hens second day total was the fourth best total for the day. The Blue Hens were led by Jason Phinney who shot 83-77-160 which placed Phinney 35th overall. Mike Ladden shot the lowest round of the tournament for the Blue Hens when he shot even par 72 in the second day of competition. Graig O'Brien (Meriden, Conn./Maloney HS) shot 80-83-163 to turn in the second best Blue Hen total and 46th overall. Team Totals: 1. Pennsylvania - 593; 2. Villanova - 609; 3.
