Season: Transferred to Delaware from
Virginia Tech prior to the 2003 spring
semester...will start at forward for the
Blue Hens after making an immediate impact
upon becoming eligible on December
20...named First Team Preseason All-CAA by
The Sporting News...
2003-04
Season: Appeared in 16 games with 11
starts...missed five games from January 28
to February 11 with a separated
shoulder...led the Blue Hens with 8.5
rebounds per game and was second with 12.6
points per game...also second on the team
with 136 rebounds despite missing 12
games...earned the Team Rebounding
Award...in his first game at Delaware, an
85-59 win over Siena on December 23, he
scored 21 points, hitting 6-of-9 shots
from the field and 3-of-5 from three-point
range...had seven assists and 13 points in
first career start against Towson on
January 10...recorded four straight
double-doubles in the final four regular
season games of the year...concluded the
regular season with 28 points and 10
rebounds in the 76-64 win over Drexel on
February 28, hitting 10-of-15 shots from
the floor and 8-of-10 from the free throw
line...named Colonial Association
Co-Player of the Week on March 2 after
that performance...also had a
double-double with 19 points, including
nine in the extra session, and 11 rebounds
on January 21 in the 93-82 overtime
victory over William & Mary...narrowly
missed another double-double when he
scored 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds
in the 80-66 wn over James Madison on
January 12...grabbed a season-high 13
rebounds on January 3 in the 66-59 triumph
over Hofstra.
At
Virginia Tech:
2002-03
Season: Did not appear in any games
before being granted his release for
transfer on December 14...
2001-02
Season: Appeared in three games,
scoring four points and grabbing six
rebounds...missed the rest of the season
due to surgery for tendinitis in both
knees.
Prep
School:
2000-01
Season: Played at Notre Dame Prep in
Middleburg, MA...averaged 12.3 ppg and 8.0
rpg for coach Bill Barton.
High
School: Attended Newport School in
Kensington, MD his last two years of high
school...averaged 11 ppg and 11 rpg his
senior season when his team went 30-8 and
won the private school state
championship...was on a team with four
other Division I players and a McDonald's
All-American his senior year...attended
high school in his native Cameroon his
first two years.
