School: All-city and all-region
selection as a junior at Southwest Atlanta
Christian Academy, averaging 20 point per
game...was also a second-team Class A
All-State selection as a junior...suffered
a season-ending knee injury midway through
his senior season...was averaging 22 ppg
through 12 games as a senior...prior to
his senior season, was ranked as one of
the Top 25 players in Georgia and was a
pre-season all-region selection by the
Atlanta Tip-Off Club...played on same high
school team as best friend Dwight Howard,
the top pick in the 2004 NBA Draft by the
Orlando Magic.
