2004-05 Season: Tri-captain for the third straight season...Colonial Athletic Association Preseason first team All-CAA selection...Academic All-America nominee...Preseason First-Team All-Conference selection by Street & Smith's and Lindy's, and was a second team pick by The Sporting News...named the CAA's Top Playmaker by Street & Smith's...has started 69 consecutive games entering the season (13 from the Delaware record of 82)...has appeared in all 87 games during his first three seasons at Delaware...natural point guard who shows great leadership on the floor...begins the season third on the UD list with 439 career assists...just 18 assists shy of 10th place on the CAA all-time list...12th in Delaware history with 273 career three-pointers attempted and 14th with 95 made...18th with 2,572 career minutes played and 43rd with 768 career points...has 397 assists versus 170 turnovers in his 41 starts (a +2.34 ratio)...has 34 career double-digit scoring games...

2003-04 Season: Third Team All-CAA selection...named to Verizon/CoSIDA District II All-Academic First Team...named to CAA All-Academic Team and earned the Team Coaches Award...earned Colonel C.B. Shaffer Team MVP Award...one of only two players to start all 28 games (Mike Ames)...led the Blue Hens with 166 assists, 47 steals, and 33.8 minutes played per game...his 5.93 assists per game led the CAA for the second straight year and ranked 21st in the nation...also led the league with a +2.34 assist/turnover ratio...third on the team with 11.0 points per game...scored in double figures 15 games, including a career-high 24 in 47 minutes of action against Virginia Commonwealth (February 25)...hit 9-of-13 shots from the field at Towson (January 10)...posted at least four assists in all but four games...took 16 free throws and made 11, both more than any UD player in any game, at UMBC (December 6)...recorded five steals against Siena (December 23) and Hofstra (January 3)...scored 17 points while playing 43 minutes in the 93-82 overtime win over William & Mary (January 21)...had nine assists versus James Madison (January 12) and a season-high 10 three days later against Drexel...hit a driving lay-up with 3.5 seconds remaining to send the Blue Hens' game with George Mason in the CAA Tournament Quarterfinals to overtime...

2002-03 Season: Led the CAA in assists at 6.2 apg (ranked No. 18 nationally)...was second in the league in assist/turnover ratio...started all 29 games...had five double-digit assist games to rank third in the nation in that category...averaged 10.9 ppg...earned a spot on the CAA All-Academic squad...recorded 15 assists twice, setting a Bob Carpenter Center single-game record in the process...was one of only two players in the nation to record two 15-assist games in 2002-03...has at least five assists in 18 of 29 games...recorded three double-doubles...also had 16 double-digit scoring games...his 1035 minutes logged ranked No. 8 on the UD single-season list...his 179 assists ranked fifth in a season at UD (only Taurence Chisholm, who ranks No. 12 in the NCAA all-time, ever had more in a season for Delaware)...earned all-tournament honors at Oneida Bingo & Casino Classic in Green Bay, scoring a then-career high 22 points in the loss to host UW-Green Bay...

2001-02 Season: Appeared in all 30 games as a true freshman... took over the starting job at point guard the last 12 games of the season and had 58 assists versus just 22 turnovers (team's turnovers dropped from 18 per game to just under 12)...averaged 4.8 ppg...recorded 94 assists (3.1 per game) despite only averaging 19.7 minutes per contest...knocked down a crucial three-pointer late in the game as Delaware beat UNC Wilmington at Trask Coliseum (January 12)...had 12 points and no turnovers in 12 minutes off the bench in UD's win at George Mason (December 22)...recorded 11 points and a season-high eight assists in Delaware's CAA quarterfinal win over Drexel (March 2)...had 11 points, six assists and no turnovers in Delaware's win at James Madison (February 25).

High School: Three-year starter and four-year letterwinner at Germantown Academy...InterAC League Most Valuable Player as a senior...set GA's single-game assist record with 14...earned third-team all-state, first-team all-city, and second-team all-area honors as a senior...was selected Montgomery Area Player of the Year in 2000-01...team finished No. 16 in the USA Today Super 25 National Rankings his senior season (27-3)...was a second-team all-league selection as a sophomore and a junior...team was a combined 52-5 his last two years...also a three-year letterwinner and two-year starter on GA's football team as a wide receiver, twice earning all-league honorable mention.

Personal: Michael Robert Slattery... born December 27, 1982...son of James and Roberta Slattery...majoring in sports management at Delaware...youngest of three children...sister, Vanessa, played soccer at Wake Forest (1993-97)...brother, Jim, was a fullback on the North Carolina State football team...began playing basketball at age 7.
