High School: One of the state's top two-sport athletes at nearby William Penn High School...four-year standout in basketball under head coach Steve Johnson (a former UD assistant) where he led Colonials to record of 82-19 and three straight state final appearances, including one championship...three-time All-Blue Hen Conference selection and three-time All-State pick...two-year team co-captain...high school teammate of Bruce Davis, a freshman basketball player at Loyola (Md.)...in baseball, was a four-year letterwinner as an outfielder and second baseman...earned All-Blue Hen Conference and All-State honors as a junior and senior and was team captain as a senior...National Honor Society student.
