Outstanding three-point shooter who has kept his "linebacker's body" despite dropping 20 lbs. from his football playing days…lost a season of eligibility while at Minnesota per NCAA rules, although he was never on the basketball roster; was recruited by the Gophers to play football, but did not play in 1998-99…2000-01 Season: Regarded by conference's coaches as the best sixth man in America East according to a telephone poll conducted by UD student newspaper The Review, but surprisingly snubbed for America East All-Rookie honors...scored a career-high 20 points off the bench in UD's America East semifinal win over Northeastern (7 for 10 from the field, including 4 for 5 from three-point range) in just 21 minutes of action...had a career-high 11 rebounds to go with seven points in UD's America East quarterfinal win over Towson...appeared in all 30 games, 29 of them off of the bench; his one start came when Austen Rowland did not play Jan. 11 vs. Northeastern (stomach flu)...played no less than 14 minutes in a game off the bench...finished among the America East leaders in steals, three-point field goal percentage and assist/turnover ratio...tied for team lead in steals (52) and was team's second-leading rebounder...set UD rookie record with 46 three-pointers (eclipsing former assistant coach Tyrone Perry's 39 three-pointers)...had a string of 11-straight games with a three-pointer...had 11 games scoring in double-figures...recorded one double-double &endash; at New Hampshire Jan. 25 (12 pts., 10 rebounds)...became the 12th player at UD to record 50 steals in a single-season...had seven games with five or more assists...had 15 points in overtime loss at College of Charleston...recorded 18 points in 23 minutes in a loss to Maine on Dec. 9...1999-2000 Season: Sat out per NCAA Transfer regulations after transferring to Minnesota...At University of Minnesota: 1998-99 Season: Sat out freshman season as a redshirt on the University of Minnesota football team.

Set career records at Eden Prairie High School for points (1,740), rebounds (696) and steals (250)...four-time Lake Conference All-Academic selection...was named Midwest SportsChannel's (MSC) Boys' High School Athlete of the Year as a senior...Associated Press Football Player of the Year as a senior in 1997...Finalist for Minnesota's Mr. Basketball Award as a senior in 1997-98...two-time all-state selection in football as he led team to back-to-back state titles (caught the winning touchdown pass in both state title games)...football team was a perfect 13-0 in his senior season as he recorded 142 tackles...played strong safety and linebacker on defense and tight end on offense.
