First Team AAA Cardinal District Team, AAA Northwestern Region, and Potomac News All-Area selection last season • named to Washington Post All-Extra Team and was a Virginia Preps All Northwest Region Hoops Second Team pick • honorable mention All-Met Team selection last year • nominated to compete in both the Commonwealth Classic and Virginia YHSL 3A All-Star Game • competed alongside some of the top high school seniors in the country in the Capital Classic, scoring four points and pulling down two rebounds for the Capital All-Stars squad • named NIKE All-American in 2004 • averaged 17.2 points and 11.4 rebounds per game as a senior • also averaged 4.8 blocks while shooting 64 percent from the field and 77.5 percent from the foul line • two-year letterwinner.
