As A Blue Hen
Will again start on the wing for Delaware • offensive force capable of creating his own shot • deadly three-point shooter who is adept at driving to the basket • named to CAA Preseason First Team. 2007-08 Season: Third team All-CAA selection • started the final 24 games of the season after missing the first seven while sitting out due to NCAA transfer rules • led the team with 6.9 rebounds per game and ranked second with 13.4 points per game • ranked fifth in the CAA with 5.42 defensive rebounds, fifth with 35.21 minutes played, sixth with 6.9 rebounds, seventh with a 79.7 free throw percentage, 11th with 3.04 assists, 12th with a 0.87 assist/turnover ratio, and 13th with 13.4 points per game • scored a team-high 14 points and grabbed two rebounds in his Blue Hen debut at Central Connecticut (12/16) • scored eight points and tied for the team lead with eight rebounds at Vermont (12/19) • scored 14 points, grabbed eight rebounds, tied for the team lead with four assists, and had two steals against Boston University (12/22) • led the Blue Hens with 17 points and added four rebounds at Maryland (12/28) • led Delaware with nine rebounds and tied for the team lead with 15 points at William & Mary (1/2) • scored nine points and led the team with a career-high 10 rebounds at Drexel (1/5) • scored 23 points and led the team with eight rebounds versus George Mason (1/9) • scored 11 points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out three assists against Old Dominion (1/12) • hit a three-pointer from the left corner with four seconds remaining in regulation to tie the game • tied for the team lead with 11 points at Virginia Commonwealth (1/16) • scored 15 points, grabbed four rebounds and dished out three assists at James Madison (1/23) • converted a game-winning three-point play with five tenths of a second remaining • scored a team-high 12 points, pulled down six rebounds, and dished out five assists against Georgia State (1/26) • handed out a season-high six assists versus Northeastern (1/30) • scored a season-high 26 points and added seven rebounds at Hofstra (2/2) • posted 11 points and a career-high 13 rebounds against UNC Wilmington to record first double-double at Delaware (2/6) • scored a team-high 15 points and added five rebounds at George Mason (2/20) • recorded team-highs of 22 points, 12 rebounds and six assists at Toledo (2/23) • went 7 of 11 from the field against the Rockets including 5 of 6 from three-point range • recorded team-highs of 24 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists against Hofstra (2/27) • scored 14 points and led the team with seven assists at Towson (3/1) • posted team-highs of 15 points and nine rebounds against Drexel in the CAA Tournament First Round (3/7) • reached double figures in 18 of 24 games on the year.

At Georgetown
2006-07 Season:
Appeared in 13 games while starting three for Georgetown before transferring to Delaware following the 2006 fall semester • averaged 7.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game for the Hoyas • made first career start against Hartford, scoring seven points and grabbing three rebounds • recorded seven points and three rebounds at Vanderbilt • posted first career double-double against Old Dominion, scoring 11 points and pulling down 10 rebounds • scored a career-high 13 points and added seven rebounds versus Oregon • notched 11 points and four rebounds against Oral Roberts • had 11 points, seven rebounds, and a career-high three assists at Michigan. 2005-06 Season: Appeared in 21 games as a freshman for Georgetown, which went 23-10 and reached the NCAA Sweet Sixteen •  averaged 1.6 points and 1.7 rebounds for the Hoyas • scored six points and grabbed three rebounds against Vanderbilt • posted season-highs of 12 points and four rebounds versus Stetson • also had four rebounds against Savannah State and Providence.

High School
Selected Delaware Player of the Year in 2003 and 2004 while playing at Glasgow High School • named first team all-state as a junior and a senior • led Glasgow to the 2003 state championship • averaged 25 points, eight rebounds, and four steals as a senior • graduated high school from Lutheran Christian (Pa.), where he played during the 2004-05 season.

Personal
Marc Egerson • son of Marc and Jackie McCain • has sisters Taja, Tiara and Jaclyn, and a brother, Martel • has a son, Ryan Christopher • black American studies major at Delaware.
