Dave Geesaman placed 67th overall to lead the University of Delaware men's cross country team to an 18th place finish at the Griak Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota Saturday. Providence, led by individual champion Ben Noad (24:25), took the team title in the 21-team field, edging Northern Arizona and Wisconsin. Geesaman (Central Dauphin/Harrisburg, PA) covered the five mile field in 26:07 to place 67th overall in the 160 runner field. Also for Delaware, Mike DiGennaro placed 70th in 26:08; Mike Puglisi (St. Mark's HS) placed 101st (26:46), Matt McNally was 119th in 27:09, Troy Bockius (Dover HS) was 128th in 27:27, and Kevin Danahy (Dover HS) was 140th at 27:57.
