Rider Invitational October 23, 1998 0-3
The University of Delaware men's cross country
squad dropped three dual meets at the Rider
Invitational Friday afternoon. The Blue Hens (0-3)
fell to host Rider (15-50), College of New Jersey
(15-50), and Rutgers (22-34) in the four-team dual
meet. The College of New Jersey won all three of
its duals. Freshman Nick Barresi placed 15th
overall to lead the Blue Hens as he covered the
five-mile course in 27:00.07. Also for Delaware,
Peter Kelly was 17th (27:17.82), Joe
Quigley was 25th (27:40.34), and Ed
Douglass placed 30th (27:56.96). Rider's Scott
Keyser was the individual champion, finishing with
a time of 25:38.98.
