of Delaware to Host Lacrosse Clinic Dec.
18 at Clayton Hall

-- Nationally-recognized coaches from the
college and high school level will be on
hand as guest speakers this weekend as the
University of Delaware and the Delaware
Lacrosse Foundation host a coaching clinic
this Saturday, Dec. 18.
The clinic
will be held Saturday at Clayton Hall on
the University of Delaware Laird campus in
Newark. Registration will be held from
10-11 a.m. followed by the clinic from 11
a.m. until 2:45 p.m. Lunch and a social
event will be provided following the
clinic. Advance registration is preferred
but not required.
The cost
of the clinic is $25 per person. Cash or
checks payable to the Delaware Lacrosse
Foundation will be accepted at
registration. For information contact

Event
speakers will be Haverford (PA) School
head coach John Nostrant, University at
Albany head coach and former Delaware
assistant coach Scott Marr, U.S. Naval
Academy assistant coach John Tillman,
University of Maryland assistant coach
Dave Slafkosky, and Yale head coach and
former Delaware assistant Andy Shay.
Nostrant
will speak on "Drills to Improve Offensive
Skills", Marr will lecture on "Offensive
Principles", Tillman will discuss the
subject of "Offensive Drills and Skills",
Slafkosky will speak on "Drills for
Defensive Skills", and Shay's subject will
be "Top Drills to Improve
Skills."
