HIGH SCHOOL: Played at lacrosse and football and the Severn School...three-year starter at midfield in lacrosse, earning All-Arundel County honors as a senior...two-year starter in football as a wide receiver.

AT DELAWARE: Second-year member of squad and key part of Delaware’s midfielder unit...coming off a solid freshman season...will battle for spot on Delaware’s second midfield unit...offensive threaet in transition...2005: One of team’s top freshmen...played in all 17 games as a backup midfielder...tallied seven goals and one assist for eight points to rank No. 8 on team...added 11 shots and 17 groundballs...scored season-high two goals in NCAA Tournament loss to Navy...also had two points (goal, assist) in regular season win over Towson and also tallied goals vs. Stony Brook (first career goal), Georgetown, Manhattan, and St. John’s.

PERSONAL: George Andrew “Drew” Turner...born Jan. 14, 1986...son of George and Christine Turner...marketing major at Delaware...works as a sailing instructor during the summer...has an older brother...father played lacrosse at the University of Virginia in 1972...father is a real estate agent and mother is a flight attendant...enjoys wakeboarding and darts in spare time.
