RICHMOND, Va. -- University of Delaware men's lacrosse players Curtis Dickson (top right) and Grant Kaleikau (bottom right) were honored by the Colonial Athletic Association Monday for their play in a pair of Blue Hen league wins last week.

Dickson, a junior attackman from Port Coquitlam, British Columbia (Riverside HS), was named the CAA Co-Player of the Week while Kaleikau, a freshman attackman from Germantown, Md. (Watkins Mill HS/Bridgton Academy), was selected as the CAA Rookie of the Week.

Dickson shared the award with Hofstra senior midfielder Anthony Muscarella, who scored seven goals in two Pride wins during the week.

Kaleikau and Dickson played a big part in leading Delaware (5-8, 2-1 CAA) to league wins of 7-6 over Sacred Heart Wednesday night at home and 12-10 over Robert Morris on Saturday on the road.

All four of his goals vs. RMU came in the pivotal second half.

The 2008 All-American has now posted five hat tricks this season and 15 for his career and his current streak of scoring a point in 38 straight games is the fifth longest active streak among all NCAA Division I players.

Kaleikau continued his outstanding play over the last few weeks as he scored four points on the week with three goals and an assist. He netted his first two career goals vs. Sacred Heart, including one that tied the game early in the fourth quarter. He also had a goal and an assist vs. Robert Morris.

Delaware, shooting for a spot in the upcoming CAA Tournament for the sixth straight year, faces a tough task this Saturday as the Hens host long-time rival Towson at 1 p.m. at Rullo Stadium.
