NEWARK, Del. -- The University of Delaware men’s lacrosse program will holds its Fifth Annual Friends of Delaware Lacrosse Golf Outing on Friday, April 17 at The Club at Patriots Glen in Elkton, Md.

The event, which helps fund the UD men’s lacrosse program, will begin at 11:30 a.m. and is open to all alumni and friends of University of Delaware men’s lacrosse.

In addition to golf, the event will also celebrate the 25th anniversary of the 1984 team that advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals and the 10th anniversary of the 1999 squad that also advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals. Both teams will be honored the following day at halftime of the Delaware vs. Towson game at Rullo Stadium.

The day will begin with registration and a cook-out at 11:30 a.m. and will be followed by a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. The tournament will follow a scramble format. A social hour and dinner will be held at 5:30 p.m. followed by a reception at 8 p.m. on the second floor of Klondike Kate’s Restaurant on Main Street in Newark.
