The East Division All-Stars will take on the West Division All-Stars in a showcase of the world's greatest lacrosse players.

The All-Star Weekend begins on Friday, March 6 with the NLL Experience and All-Star Skills Competition. On March 7, NLL Hall of Fame Class of 2009 members Dallas Eliuk and Jim Veltman will be inducted into the Hall of Fame as part of a special afternoon event at Pepsi Center. Hall, one of nine former UD men’s lacrosse players currently affiliated with the indoor professional league, is a former No. 1 draft pick and currently a second-year member of the Titans. The British Columbia native has enjoyed an outstanding season so far, leading the Titans to record of 6-5, which currently ranks third in the East standings.

He has played in all 11 games and is currently tied for the team lead and tied for fourth in the league statistics in scoring with 55 points on 17 goals and a team-high 38 assists. His 38 assists also rank tied for second in the league.

Hall, a two-time All-American and the 2005 Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year, is one of five former Blue Hen players on the Titans, joining midfielder Keevin Galbraith and defensemen Matt Alrich, Bryan Barrett, and Rob Smith. Galbraith has played in six games and has one goal and three assists to go with 15 groundballs, Alrich has dished out three assists in 10 games, and Barrett has dished out two assists and posted 27 groundballs. Smith is listed on the roster but has not played this season.

Brett Manney, a member of Delaware’s 2007 NCAA Final Four squad, has played in eight games on defense with the San Jose Stealth this season and recorded one assist and 23 groundballs while Luke Wiles is the second leading scorer for Toronto Rock with 17 goals and 18 assists for 35 points to with 50 groundballs in nine games.

In addition, former Hens Scott Evans and John Grant are members of the Rochester Knighthawks but are sitting out this year with injuries.

Alrich, who scored 83 goals at Delaware in 2000-04, is in his fifth season in the league, including his third with New York. Barrett, a two-time all-conference defender at Delaware who played at UD in1998-2001, is in his eighth season in the league and his third with New York. Galbraith is a five-year league veteran and a third-year member of the Titans who earned all-league honors at Delaware in 2001. Smith was an all-league selection on defense for Delaware’s 2007 NCAA Final Four team.

Grant and Evans, both natives of Canada, have been long-time offensive standouts in the league. Evans, who played for the Hens in 2001-03, is a six-year NLL veteran while Grant, who will miss the entire season with a knee ligament injury, has established himself as one of the top players in league history and has scored 394 goals in nine seasons with the club.
