OAKVILLE, Ontario -- Current University of Delaware standout attackman Curtis Dickson and former Blue Hen All-Americans John Grant and Jordan Hall are among 55 lacrosse standouts invited to participate in the Team Canada 2010 tryouts.
The four-day camp will determine the team that will represent Canada at the 2010 Federation of International Lacrosse World Championship next summer. The camp will be held from Friday, Oct. 9 through Monday, Feb. 12 at St. Michael’s College School in Toronto.
All three have played for long-time Delaware head coach Bob Shillinglaw and each has led the Blue Hens to the NCAA Tournament.

mbia (Riverside HS), will return this spring as one of the top scorers in the country. A two-time Tewaaraton Trophy candidate and two-time All-Colonial Athletic Association selection, Dickson led the Blue Hens in scoring for the second straight season in 2009 when he tallied 33 goals and dished out 12 assists. A 2007 United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association honorable mention All-American, he is also a two-time team Most Valuable Player and his 100 career goals ranks No. 12 all-time at Delaware.
A native of Ontario (Kenner HS), Grant has followed a standout two-year career with the Blue Hens in 1998-99 with an outstanding professional career both indoors and outdoors. Grant recorded 81 goals and 96 assists for 177 points in just 32 career games for the Blue Hens and was inducted into the UD Athletics Hall of Fame in 2005. He was a two-time USILA All-American, earning first team laurels as a senior in 1999 when he led all NCAA Division I players with 110 points and was named the winner of the prestigious Enner Award as the USILA National Player of the Year. He led Delaware to its best season in school history in 1999 when the Blue Hens went 14-3 and advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals. He has moved on to an All-Star career with teams in Rochester, N.Y. and led the Toronto Nationals to the 2009 Major League Lacrosse this past summer.
Hall, a native of Surrey, British Columbia (Fleetwood Park HS), was a four-year standout midfielder in 2004-07 and played a key role in leading the 2007 squad to the Colonial Athletic Association title and the team’s first-ever trip to the NCAA Final Four. He earned USILA honorable mention All-American honors twice and was also a three-time All-CAA selection. He was named the CAA Player of the Year as as sophomore in 2006. He finished his career as one of Delaware’s all-time leading scorers with 104 points on 68 goals and 36 assists. He is also a standout professional both indoors and outdoors and led the Toronto Nationals to the 2009 MLL title this past summer.
