HIGH SCHOOL: Enjoyed an outstanding lacrosse career at Bishop O'Connell High School...AT DELAWARE: Excellent athlete who may be one of team's quickest players...outstanding transition midfielder...outstanding dodger with good north-south speed...one of team's most improved players...will battle for spot on team's No. 1 midfield unit...can also handle faceoff duties...2003: Came on as one of the team's most improved players...was a key member of Delaware midfield unit and earned second team All-Colonial Athletic Association honors...ranked third on the team with 19 points on 16 goals and three assists...had 24 groundballs and won four of six faceoff opportunities...scored two or more goals three times with career-high three vs. Marist when he also recorded an assist...scored two goals each vs. Saint Joseph's and Sacred Heart...2002: Played in 12 games with four starts as a freshman...scored two goals, had two assists, and recorded 20 groundballs...won 33 of his 96 faceoff attempts (.333)...scored goals vs. Penn State and Denver...PERSONAL: Robert Matthew Meunier ("moon-yay")...born April 20, 1983...son of Robert and Toni Meunier...geography major at Delaware...has worked at a lacrosse store during the summer.
