HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year standout at nearby St. Mark's High School in Newark...enjoyed one of the finest careers ever by a Delaware boy's lacrosse player...as a senior, earned first team All-State honors and was named state Player of the Year by the Wilmington News Journal...earned honorable mention All-American honors...scored 55 goals and dished out 31 assists as team advanced to state championship game...scored 22 goals and dished out 30 assists as a junior...National Honor Society student...AT DELAWARE: Second-year performer who is one of Hens' top longstick midfielders...outstanding athlete with good speed and strength...outstanding between the lines...2003: Played a key role for Hens as a freshman...appeared in 10 games in a reserve role...earned only point with an assist in loss at Hofstra...collected four groundballs...PERSONAL: Paul Alexander Rodriguez ("rod-ree-giss")...honor student as a mechanical engineering major at Delaware...has works as a camp counselor and electrician during the summers...avid golfer..older sister, Carol, played field hockey at the University of Vermont.
