HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year varsity standout in lacrosse at Yarmouth High School...also played one year of soccer as a striker and led team to 14-1 record and state title...led lacrosse teams to four-year mark of 60-9 and to 2004 state championship...earned All-American honors in lacrosse as a junior and senior...named state’s Player of the Year as a a senior....captain as a senior.

PERSONAL: Chris Deering Hichborn (“hitch-born”)...born Feb. 11, 1987...son of John and Gayle Hichborn...middle of three sons...older brother, Matt, is a sophomore midfielder at 2006 Blue Hen opponent Lehigh...health and physical education major at Delaware...hopes to be a physical education teacher...works as a painter during the summer...father owns a hardware store.
