High School: Played lacrosse and ice hockey at Riverside High School...four-year standout at midfield in lacrosse...named Provincial Cup Most Valuable Player in 2006...in box lacrosse, was a four-year Provincial All-Star...four-year standout as a center for ice hockey team...led squad to 2006 Fraser Valley championship...honor roll student.

At Delaware: Second-year member of the squad...second-year starter on Blue Hen attack unit...All-American candidate...nominee for the Tewaaraton Trophy as the top men's player in the NCAA...outstanding offensive force who uses strength and size to get close to the goal...has a strong outside shot...enters season having scored a goal in 10 straight games.

2007 Season: After a slow start and a move from midfield unit, came on late to become one of the team's most reliable offensive forces as a freshman...earned letter during his first year with the Blue Hen program, helping lead the squad to the Colonial Athletic Association title and an NCAA Final Four berth...earned a spot on the CAA All-Rookie team...played in 15 games with 10 starts and was the team's fourth-leading point-scorer with 28 points on 21 goals and seven assists...led all UD rookies in goals and points...had 54 shots, 16 groundballs, and five caused turnovers...after scoring just two goals in the first six games of the season, tallied 19 in the final 10 games...missed nearly a month of the season and four games with an injury at mid-season...scored two more goals six times with season-high four each vs. Villanova and in NCAA Tournament win over Virginia (also had an assist vs. UVa)...scored two goals each vs. Towson, Sacred Heart, Robert Morris, and UMBC...scored seven goals in three NCAA Tournament games...scored game-winning-goal in 19-18 win over Villanova that started Delaware's seven-game win streak...named CAA Rookie of the Week for his performance vs. Villanova...had season-high seven shots vs. Towson and Sacred Heart.

Personal: Curtis John Dickson...son of Derek and Janis Dickson...has an older sister...father is a police officer...father played box lacrosse in the Western Lacrosse Association...criminal justice major at Delaware...would like to become a police officer...hobbies include playing video games and roller hockey.
