2007 Season: Earned letter as a backup attackman, helping lead the squad to the Colonial Athletic Association title and an NCAA Final Four berth...saw action in 13 games, all in a reserve role, and contributed eight goals (on just 10 shots) and four assists...scored first career hat trick with three-goal effort (on three shots) vs. Robert Morris...also scored twice at Duke, dished out two assists vs. Mt. St. Mary's, and had a goal and two assists in season-opener vs. Saint Joseph's...had six groundballs, including five vs. Duke...scored a man-up goal in regular season loss to Drexel.
2006 Season: Earned a letter as a backup attackman as a freshman for Blue Hens...helped lead to team to CAA championship game appearance...had only point vs. Wagner when he dished out an assist...recorded a groundball in collegiate debut vs. Saint Joseph's.
Personal: Nicholas James “Nick” LoManto (“low-man-toe)... son of James and Laura LoManto...finance major at Delaware...career objective is to work with the Federal Bureau of Investigation...father works in law enforcement field and his mother teaches blind students...has worked at lacrosse camps and on a boat during the summers...has three younger sisters...began playing ice hockey in the second grade....plans to serve an internship with Credit Suisse Bank in London this coming summer.
