High School: Four-year letterwinner in lacrosse at Henrietta Rush High School and Avon Old Farms as an attack...team captain his senior year....three-time all-league selection...member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Brian Patrick Hantzis...son of Brian and Patricia Hantzis...has one brother, Adam...high school teammate of brothers Cameron and Roman Lao-Gosney of Lehigh, Neil Kracter of Marist, Nick Gantsordes of Bucknell and Alex Demopoulis of Denver...undeclared major at Delaware...has three superstitions before games: has to take a hot shower, drink an orange Gatorade and will not eat before a game...once scored what would have been a pivotal goal in a close game his senior year of high school, but the head of his stick flew off and the goal was discounted...enjoys boating, fishing and spending time at his family's summer home in Maine, as well as working for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
