NEWARK, DE - The University of Delaware defeated Lehigh, 1-0, on a golden goal by Ron Ballas 3:28 into overtime in men's soccer action Wednesday. The Hens and Mountain Hawks played two scoreless halves, leading to sudden death overtime. Delaware scored the only goal of the game when Ballas put the ball into the net at 93:28. The freshman from Newark, DE (St. Mark's HS) knocked a loose ball out of a scramble past Lehigh goalkeeper Jeff Correll for his second goal in as many games. Delaware, unbeaten in its last three (2-4-1), will return to action Saturday when the Hens host Buffalo at Delaware Mini-Stadium at 1 p.m.
