NEWARK, DE - University of Delaware fell to University of Vermont, 3-1 in men's soccer, Sunday. Delaware (5-12-1, 3-6 America East) took an early lead when junior Todd Everett netted his fourth goal of the season. Everett headed the ball into the net off of a Mat Dunbar corner kick at 15:06 to give Delaware a 1-0 lead. In the second half, Vermont (9-7-1, 4-5 America East) tied the game on an Oliver Ellsworth shot off a pass from Jason Allen at 47:30. The Catamounts took the lead on a Jamie Farrell unassisted goal at 54:11. Vermont iced the game at 89:00, when Allen put a shot in the net off a feed from Tim Willard. The Hens finished out the 1999 season with a record 5-12-1, 3-6 in America East.
